We do not collect payment information through the website. Payment processing is handled through Stripe and is subject to Stripe's own Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Squarespace, our website hosting provider, may collect basic anonymous site analytics — including page views, visit duration, and general geographic location — to help us understand site traffic. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
How We Use Your Information
Information you submit through our forms is used exclusively to:
Respond to your inquiry within one business day
Determine whether an ElevIT Ventures engagement is appropriate for your situation
Communicate with you regarding a potential or active engagement
Fulfill outdoor planning or IT advisory services you have engaged us to provide
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
We utilize artificial intelligence tools to perform data analysis and generate business insights. This data is processed securely and is not used to train public AI models.
How We Store Your Information
Form submissions are stored within Squarespace's secure form response system and delivered to our business email at contact@elevitventures.com. We retain contact information only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or manage an active engagement relationship.
We do not maintain a database of visitor information beyond what is received through form submissions. If you would like your information deleted, contact us at contact@elevitventures.com and we will remove it promptly.
Outdoor Planning Data Processing
For outdoor adventure planning services, you may submit activity files (e.g., GPX files) from Strava, Garmin, or similar fitness platforms. This data is handled as follows:
Your raw activity file is parsed locally to extract summary metrics — including distance, elevation gain, and average heart rate. The complete route path and raw file are not transmitted to any third-party AI tool.
Only these derived summary metrics are used with AI-assisted tools to analyze your fitness baseline and identify gaps relative to your stated objective.
Summary metrics and resulting analysis are used exclusively to build your customized training and expedition plan.
Treated as confidential. For Fitness Check, confidentiality is governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service directly. For Trip Plan & Expedition Package, confidentiality is additionally governed by the confidentiality terms in your signed Outdoor Advisory Agreement.
Your data is never shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to your engagement, and is never used to train public AI models.
Raw activity files and derived metrics are retained only as long as necessary to complete your plan and are deleted as part of our standard data handling process. We do not indefinitely retain this data. You retain full ownership of your activity data and may request deletion at any time by contacting contact@elevitventures.com.
Reference Photographs
For certain services, you may submit photographs of gear, equipment, or yourself wearing equipment (e.g., bike fit or pack fit images) to support fit and equipment assessment. Unlike GPX files, these photographs are provided directly to AI-assisted analysis tools as submitted. Photographs are retained only as long as necessary to complete your plan and are deleted as part of our standard data handling process; you may request deletion at any time by contacting contact@elevitventures.com. Photographs are never shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to your engagement and are never used to train public AI models.
Your Rights Under CCPA
As a California resident you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Know — you may request information about what personal data we have collected about you
Right to Delete — you may request deletion of your personal information
Right to Opt Out — you may opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
